News from the Austin front. The family was able to get together over the Christmas holiday. Mom did not disappoint. Christmas Eve is always “Mexican” night and the Posole’ and Tamales were the best. As is tradition in our house, we opened presents at midnight, I’m having a harder time staying up for this as the years go by. Santa was good to all of us this year and seeing my brother George and his family and my sister Anitra is always a highlight for me.
Now for the big news. My mom and dad are moving to Mexico. Baja actually. San Felipe will be getting a new San Francisco 49er fan. My mom is very excited and we helped them pack up their things and put some stuff in storage. My mom says they will be in San Felipe by January 3rd. I will miss them.

Packed with Pride is going to Sturgis South Dakota in August for the famous Sturgis bike rally. There will be 400 thousand bikers, 60 per cent of them are Vets! We will have a booth to pass out our flyers and ask for donations. Just think, if we get one dollar from everyone there!!! So we need a catchy phrase about one dollar donation is all we are asking for from each biker. Think of something great for us to use.
